This limitation means the scope of the trial

Days after Lance Armstrong’s doping admission,The following breitlingstore stock Breitling watches. cycling is set for more damaging revelations when the long-delayed Operation Puerto case finally goes to court in Spain.

Seven years after Spanish investigators uncovered one of cycling’s most sophisticated and widespread doping networks, some of its central figures will stand trial Monday in Madrid’s Criminal Court.

Judge Julia Santamaria will preside as five defendants are tried. They include doctors Eufemiano and Yolanda Fuentes, brother-and-sister suspects at the heart of a complex blood-doping ring.

Also on trial will be Manolo Saiz, former ONCE and Liberty Seguros team sports director, as well as Vicente Belda and Ignacio Labarta, both associated with the former Kelme team.

Jose Luis Merino, another medical doctor, also was to be tried,Where can you buy authenticguccishoes for cheap? but Santamaria granted him a temporary stay Thursday after he presented medical reports stating he has Alzheimer’s disease.

Although no riders will sit in the dock, many will called to testify as witnesses, including two-time Tour de France champion Alberto Contador.

Cyclists will not be on trial because Santamaria can only rule on matters covered by Spanish law as it applied in May 2006,Check out the January edition of the royaloak News! when police raids uncovered a mass of evidence in labs, offices and apartments in Madrid, Zaragoza and El Escorial.

This limitation means the scope of the trial can only focus on charges relating to actions that could “endanger public health.” But that doesn’t mean the trial won’t lead to new revelations about athletes who cheated to get an unfair advantage.

“If one of the defendants says that, for example, he injected a certain athlete, then Spain’s anti-doping agency or a sports federation could open an investigation to see if they could be subject to a ban,” Eduardo Esteban, spokesman for the state prosecutor’s office, told The Associated Press.

Miguel Angel Adan, spokesman for Spain’s anti-doping agency, confirmed the body was studying the possibility.

According to documents reportedly seen by sports newspaper AS,With the multitude of fake replicawatches on the internet, defense lawyers will argue that Fuentes and his co-defendants did not endanger cyclists’ health because they relied on the best technology available.

The proceedings will be followed closely by the World Anti-Doping Agency, which pushed for the case to go to court and will be a party to the trial along with the International Cycling Union, the Italian Olympic Committee, the International Association of Professional Cycling Teams, and former cyclist Jesus Manzano.

WADA is disappointed the trial is limited to cycling, as athletes from other sports were also implicated.

“We have expressed our frustration but at least we are finally getting a hearing,” WADA director general David Howman told the AP in a telephone interview. “The case was originally canned, but we pushed and insisted to get it reopened. Our expectations are limited but our hopes are high.”

“There were athletes from a number of sports involved,” Howman said. “The doctor is on trial. We need to hear what he was practicing and who his patients were.Louis Vuitton shoes are on sale in our store with high quality louisvuittonshoes.”

which will include a corporate challenge

On perhaps the coldest morning so far this winter, interest in area cycling quickly heated up at the Haltom Region Museum.

That was thanks to the official announcement of an event that organizers hope will strengthen Halton’s status as a cycling hotbed.

But while drawing the support of three-time Olympic medalist Curt Harnett and likely to attract many top-level competitors due to its 140-kilometre challenge, organizer Michael Merrall stressed the newly-created PwC Epic Tour Halton isn’t a race.

“It’s about getting people more active,” said Merrall at today’s event launch. “We wanted to create an event that anyone can participate in.”

With that in mind, PwC Epic Tour Halton — to be held Sunday, Sept. 8 in and around the Kelso Quarry Lake — will include four different distances in an effort to cater to all types of cyclists.

Along with the 140k GrandFondo — an Italian-oriented concept that now has thousands of similar races in the U.S. — there’ll be an Aspire 80k, Fit 40k and Family 20k.womens sandals and womens boots including shoesforkids and designer. A prominent member of the sports marketing industry, Merrall described the area as an ecological gem and that PwC Epic Tour Halton will serve as a lifestyle experience for cyclists of all ages and skill levels.

“We thought it was high time this area had one of these events to call our own,” he said.Returns on Men's and Women's authentics Apparel at Indie Bike. This a simple guide to help collectors and enthusiasts to christianlouboutinshoes on ebay. “We believe that if riders come here once, they’ll want to come back again and again and again. A strong supporter of grassroots cycling, Harnett described his initial discussion with Merrall about the PwC Epic Tour Halton as a “serendipitous opportunity.”

“The more Mike told me about the event, the easier it was for me to get behind it,” said Harnett, who also touched on Milton’s soon-to-be-built velodrome and how many different groups will be working to ensure its long-term viability. “I’m excited for this event but I also don’t want the summer to blow by because there’s a lot of preparation for this.Find detailed product information for parkingguidancesystem truck and other products. Pricewater houseCoopers will serve as the title sponsor of the event, which will include a corporate challenge, with teams combining cycling kilometres to work towards sponsorship funding.

Inaugural thrill for drill team

At the end of an exhausting rehearsal, the young men plopped down on the floor and rested, their gym shoes kicked off to the side and their wooden rifles placed at their feet.

It had been a long evening for members of the South Shore Drill Team & Performing Arts Ensemble — four hours of counting steps in a new routine, twirling mock rifles and sabers into the air and catching them without missing a beat. The following evening, girls on the flag line would have their turn.

But for this energetic group of youths who brought first lady Michelle Obama to her feet with their soulful performance last summer, spending most evenings in high-energy rehearsals is a small price to pay for perfection, airjordansale can tarnish and also be covered with dirt and grime like any other ring. You can make astonishing savings on Ladies cubepuzzlee. especially when the payoff is landing a spot in President Barack Obama's inaugural parade.

For performers used to winning national competitions and performing at events as far away as Morocco, a trip to Washington, D.C., might have seemed like just another chance for bragging rights. But no one had to explain to them what it means to be the only group from Illinois invited to march down Pennsylvania Avenue after the president is sworn in Jan. 21.

Getting ready for the parade, though, is only half the job. When most of the youths on the team are from low-income families in impoverished neighborhoods, the biggest challenge is raising the $45,000 organizers said they need to cover the cost of the trip. They have come up with a little over half, with the largest chunk — $10,000 — donated by Walgreen Co.

The group has scheduled fundraisers, and parents also have been asked to donate $300.

Since former Chicago schoolteacher Arthur Robertson founded the private, nonprofit troupe in 1980 with a handful of neighborhood children, it has operated on donations, mostly from foundations and corporations. The exqusite agatebeads are set in place to cope with the high price of genuine ones. The group is now based at the Gary Comer Youth Center in Grand Crossing and includes more than 275 young people from the Chicago area. However, only 54 of the most experienced members will make the trip to Washington.

To trim the cost of the three-day trip, the team will travel to Washington on a chartered bus and stay at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center, a dormitory-style facility with a cafeteria. Organizers said part of the money raised will be used to purchase new wooden rifles and flags, thermal undergarments, shoes and jogging suits for the team to travel in. They'd also like to make repairs to the red,If you have never tried womenshoes you are in for a rare treat. blue and white uniforms that were worn in more than 125 parades and other events last year.

If Chicagoans are looking for the kind of flashy "step-off" dance show they're used to seeing at the Bud Billiken Parade, they'll be in for a surprise. The routine planned for the inaugural parade follows the protocol set by the U.S. armed forces, which coordinates the event.

That means no stopping along the parade route, laying their rifles and flags on the ground and breaking into a hip-hop dance as their fans have come to expect. Instead, they've reworked their routine so they can keep moving and dance with their flags and rifles in hand.

Her message to them was to work hard, focus on their goals and ignore anyone who says that young people from disadvantaged backgrounds cannot succeed.

Horton, of Englewood, cheap stainless lacefront wholesalers on DHgate and get worldwide delivery. was in the audience that afternoon, and she took the first lady's words to heart.

"Half of us came from nothing. Everybody's problem is different from the other's," said Horton, a nine-year veteran who continues to perform with the group while attending Harold Washington College. "To perform for the president, nobody can down us now. This shows that we can accomplish anything."

Though the president and first lady are not involved in the selection process, some of the students believe that accolades from the Obamas pushed them over the top. But even without it, their star would have shone brightly.

Still, Michael Borum, 34, the group's assistant director and instructor, stressed a few points to the rifle squad. Borum, who joined the team when he was 8, went on to earn a degree in business management from Chicago State University before returning to work with the group.

"Please, do not hold that rifle like it's a real gun. And definitely don't do anything like that when you're in front of the president's booth. They've got snipers everywhere," Borum, half-joking, told the young men sitting in a circle on the floor.

when was this column being published

This column comes to you from my boyfriend’s childhood home in deepest Portadown where, as in every house, Christmas is kept slightly differently. This meant the twinkly lights purchased in the pound shop by my mother-in-law-in-waiting Queenie only went up three days after the 25th. It also meant the artificial tree that I’ve seen once in the 12 or so Christmasses I’ve been visiting here remained in the “roofspace” throughout the festive season. The non-appearance of the tree is a valued yuletide tradition at this point.

Even though they don’t have a tree I knew it was Christmas because Queenie offered me an alcoholic drink which only happens at this time of year. The large vodka and lemonade nearly blew my head off. There is red and white Schloer (a non-alcoholic fizzy drink strictly imbibed only at Christmas) on tap but not much in the way of red and white wine.

When I told Queenie I had a column to file while I was there,Shop wholesale schoolbagfactory hoop earrings from cheap stainless steel. she worried what I was going to write about because she’s thoughtful like that. Later, she appeared with a copy of a tabloid newspaper in which Ulrika Johnsson has a column. “Do you ever just look at what other people have written and do up your own version?” she enquired, thrusting Johnsson’s musings on Christmas in front of my nose. “Thanks,” I said, to be polite.

Then she asked when was this column being published. I told her January 5th and she said that’s the day before the Epiphany. “You could,” she said, “think of all the epiphanies you’ve had during the year and then write about them.” “Thanks,” I said, to be polite. And also because it wasn’t the worst idea she’s ever had and also because actually, I have had at least three epiphanies this year. (Thanks Queenie!)

1. Early in January, I met a friend for coffee in a nice hotel. She was wearing snowboots and thermal underwear, she confided, because at our age she reckoned comfort was king. “We’re not 90,” I said but I knew what she meant. All around us women were wearing their Christmas presents, elegant, uncomfortable looking shoes and, we estimated, carefully coordinated underwear that wasn’t comfortable but had other attributes. We marvelled at their ability to look so effortlessly glamorous. I spent years thinking that one day I would get to an age where I would look expensive and shiny and, I suppose, clean. I thought it would just happen. Epiphany A: If it hasn’t happened by now, it is never going to happen. Epiphany B: I don’t care.

2. At the end of October I found myself walking the marathon. I hated it: the crowds, the “you can do it!” posters,Buying the right type of ownfigurine is a task which requires a lot of attention and assessment. the general adrenalin-soaked atmosphere. Everything that was supposed to motivate me had exactly the opposite effect.

Epiphany: While I am no longer exercise-averse I am allergic to mass-participation exercise events. Unfortunately I keep forgetting this, so every time I get an email asking me to do a race I say “Yes! Fantastic!” instead of my real feelings which are: “No. I’d rather eat my own runners.” Actually, I think I’ll get that as a tattoo.

3. On Christmas Day this year, my mother walked in the door wearing a jolly-hued flowery number. “I love your dress,” I said, this sandals will become the  pair of heels you need and cheapairjordansale features customer's nobleness.Finest watches Shop offers hairflower with best prices, when what I really meant was “what is the story with your dress?”

“It’s really comfortable,” she said.he said jacketswonder shoes are unremarkably detected as protection in many ways. It had been a present so she thought she’d wear it for Christmas Day. The dress distracted me all through the turkey and even through her award-winning trifle and eventually I had to ask her whether the dress might actually be a nightgown.

This had crossed her mind but she’d dismissed it because the person who gave it to her said “I thought they were your colours” and who cares what colours you wore in bed? I looked at the label. I did a bit of Googling and found a pair of pyjama bottoms in the same jolly-hued flower print. By the time I found the “dress” which was actually a “chemise de nuit” I had tears of laughter rolling down my face. She was just crying regular tears. On the plus side, she didn’t have to change going to bed that night. Epiphany: If it looks like a nightie and is as comfortable as a nightie, it probably is a nightie.

while the surgery had fixed his ripped

He's run at least one marathon every year since 1979. He's run one in all 50 states -- nearly twice over. And he once ran them fast for a recreational runner.

Then, the injuries started piling up a few years ago. Though, nothing was like the knee pain that led to microfracture surgery in the spring of 2011, and then to more than a year of rehabilitation.

He knew his running career was seriously threatened.

But we're also talking about one of the most determined people around. His life is an intriguing twist, goals and incentives molded around exotic travel as well as mundane routine.Brand new discounted tagheuerwatches.

And so to keep his yearly marathon streak alive, he needed to recover enough by this fall. In the process, he realized that while the surgery had fixed his ripped meniscus in his knee,Watch Later Review shoessupplier Kanye West Don Shoes. there was nothing to solve the loss of cartilage that created bone rubbing on bone.

Running the way he runs would be too awkward and painful and simply foolhardy.

So he decided to adjust to keep doing what he loves.

That's why he still made it through 26.2 miles near San Francisco in July and through hail and a cold rain in Indianapolis in early November.

They were the slowest and yet, in a way, two of the most important marathons of his life.

Most important? If only for the perseverance and determination of his recovery.

Plus, there's this: Although he's going slower, he's also keeping his body in motion and in the elements twice as long this way, six and seven hours instead of three or four.

And because marathons do have time cut-offs, there's still some pressure to finish if you're walking, which is perfect for Shaw.

Although it doesn't feel quite the same, 26.2 miles is still a marathon, meaning that he still needs only South America and Australia to do one in every continent. He needs only six more states to get in all 50 a second time.

He talked of power walking a half-marathon in Lancaster County and making "a rookie mistake. I wore a crappy pair of shoes and got some of the worst blisters I ever got."

Which, actually, led to a staph infection.

So it's been the toughest year, and the busiest one. The most disappointing year and yet the most uplifting.

"I can't reverse time. I'm proud of my history," Shaw said. "I hope my perseverance shows as a good example to some other people. Not all of my (marathons) went well."

The storied shoes went neglected along with a trove of dresses

The shoes were the stuff of legend: pairs upon colorful pairs of pumps, flats and other footwear that evinced the lavish lifestyle of Imelda Marcos, the woman wed to deposed Philippines strongman Ferdinand Marcos.

Thousands of showy shoes were found at the Manila presidential palace and another Marcos home decades ago, left behind in 1986 when the couple fled the country in the throes of a popular revolt.

The new government held up the high heels as the epitome of the ejected Marcoses’ extravagance as their nation was mired in barefoot poverty, an anti-Cinderella story warning of the dangers of autocracy. The leader who succeeded Marcos, Corazon Aquino, displayed the manifold footwear in the presidential palace. Hundreds of pairs were lent to a local shoe museum.

But in the decades since, the shoes that turned heads worldwide for all the wrong reasons have been boxed up. Some were damaged by termites, others deluged by monsoon waters or encrusted with mold,Order high quality breitlingwatches at home. The storied shoes went neglected along with a trove of dresses and accessories stored at the Malacanang Palace that was moved to museum offices two years ago, the museum said in a statement Monday. No plan was created for what to do with them, it explained.

Some of Marcos gowns could help create a fashion collection for the museum, “but this has yet to be even formally proposed given the as-yet politically sensitive nature of their provenance,” the museum said.

One championship got away from Rochester Mayo

The Spartans still have a shot at another one, a more important one.Free shipping BOTH ways on womenssandals,

Mayo's 28-7 loss to Owatonna on Wednesday on the final night of the high school football regular season left the Spartans without the Big Nine Conference championship they had aimed for since practice started two months ago.

That title belongs to Owatonna, the No. 3-ranked team in the Class AAAAA state poll. The Huskies capped a perfect regular season (7-0 Big Nine, 8-0 overall) with the win, and they locked up the top seed in the Section One, Class AAAAA playoffs.

But Mayo (5-2, 5-3) still has a chance at a bigger goal — the section championship. The Spartans, the No. 3 seed in the section, begin postseason play on Tuesday, when they play host to No. 6 seed Austin.

"I told our guys that (Owatonna) is a championship football team," Mayo coach Donny Holcomb said. "Now we know where we have to get to to be a championship team ourselves. Every time we have an opportunity to make a play, we have to capitalize on it."

While much of the talk about Owatonna this season has revolved around its new-found aerial attack (senior quarterback Colton Schock has passed for a school-record 1,467 yards), it beat Mayo on Wednesday in traditional Huskies fashion — by pounding the ball on the ground.

Owatonna controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, rushing for 389 yards, while holding Mayo to just 2 net rushing yards.Read Mens watchreplica eBay Review and Guides in the eBay categories. The Spartans ran for 34 yards, but the Huskies sacked Mayo quarterback Eric Manges five times for a total loss of 32 yards.

"We had a good game plan coming in," Mayo senior receiver/defensive back Mike Fix said, "we just have to execute. We have to play four quarters, every play."

Mayo was able to move the ball through the air, as Manges completed 16 of 24 pass attempts for 202 yards. Manges now has passed for 1,278 yards this season, the sixth-best season ever by a Mayo quarterback.

He hit Fix in stride on the first play of Mayo's second drive of the game for a 56-yard touchdown. Jerry Brownell added the point-after-touchdown kick for a 7-0 Mayo lead with 5:52 to go in the first quarter.

"We were able to throw the ball here and there, but their blitz and defensive line got to us a few times," Holcomb said.

It was all Owatonna after that.

The Huskies scored one touchdown in each quarter, starting with Luke Wanous' 58-yard run with 3:55 to go in the first quarter. Aaron Peterson did the rest of the damage. The 6-foot, 160-pound junior ran for touchdowns of 32, 47 and 75 yards. His first scoring run came with 1:52 to go in the second quarter and gave the Huskies the lead for good.

Wanous and Peterson each finished with 180 rushing yards. Wanous also caught four passes for 47 yards.

Mayo must now leave the regular season behind and turn its attention to the playoffs.

"We have to have good practices every day the rest of the week," said Fix, who has 35 catches for 597 yards and five touchdowns this season, "and we need to turn our intensity up 10 notches."

The company that manufactures Apple's iPhone said yesterday it found underage interns as young as 14 working at one of its factories in China.

Foxconn Technology Group said the interns were found by a company investigation at its factory in the eastern city of Yantai and were sent back to their schools.

Academia Sanchez-Casal buys in to Naples

New momentum has engulfed the beleaguered facility most commonly known as the Naples Bath & Tennis Club. The multi-court complex on Airport-Pulling Road in Naples is now the official American hub of the Academia Sanchez-Casal Florida operation.

The 38-court academy has just opened its programs for juniors, ATP and WTA players, coaches and after‐school tennis for kids. It will follow the same successful structure that it has in Barcelona: a traditional club for families with numerous social activities and tennis programs for local kids.

The Academia Sanchez‐Casal Tennis Club opened for members on Oct. 1, with its official all-around opening scheduled for Nov. 1.

“We are the top academy in Europe, but if we want to be the best in the world we have to be in Florida,” said Emilio Sanchez Vicario, former top-10 ATP player and founder of Academia Sanchez‐Casal. “Naples looks like a perfect location, a beautiful and safe residential area easily accessible by car from the main cities and very well connected by air.Order high quality replicawatches at home.”

Apart from that, she says that the business has become highly competitive, with her passengers dropping drastically, while living in the city has become highly untenable for her.

Based on the situation, she decided to move to Seremban, where she believes circumstances may be more merciful towards her. She continues to live in hope.

As the year ends, she has to find funds to ensure her son’s school pre-requisites are taken care of . School books, uniforms, shoes — there is a whole list that, for those living on a shoestring budget, the anticipated expenses waiting to happen can be just too much cope.

It’s the urban poor phenomenon. This group continues to live in poverty and they get drowned among the rich and affluent. As paradoxical as it may seem, this is reality, despite a drastic drop in urban poverty incidence in the last three decades.

My friend’s sister does not know that there are welfare organisations that might be of help to her; neither does she know of the various funds being made available to the urban poor.Shop the latest monclerjackets handpicked by a global.

The point of this little narrative is to highlight the plight of this woman and others like her. These “ignorant poor” among us need help. They need to be on a sustainable loop of survival.

One-time hand-outs may bring cheer, but they are short-term gains with no real value added for alleviating the status of the urban poor.Enjoy our selection of discounted iwcwatchesshop.
The Government has more than enough assistance available in various forms for the urban poor, but how far is this availability being communicated to those who need it?

The grassroots are perhaps not being reached out to by the various political parties whose main focus should be to serve people in their constituency.

Incidentally, I met another lady under very different circumstances. She was with her nine-year old son who has been diagnosed with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder),replica bvlgariwatches online store, a neuro-behavioural irregularity which can interfere with learning.

This boy requires special education, which can be an expensive affair in Malaysia. The government has various programmes for students with learning problems and there also special schools in Selangor and Federal Territories run by the Education Ministry.

Again, this mother, whose face is lined with wrinkles from worrying about the son, has no clue about where and how to seek help.
Government programmes are not reaching the deserving lots who are often in the dark and left to bemoan the fate that has befallen them, at every sunrise and sunset.

I do know that the various political parties run service centres where dedicated aides hold public sessions where they listen to grouses from the people and get them resolved, but many of these operations are seasonally operated.

Those who take the trouble to head to such service centres do not always get treated well. Harsh words, reproofs and reprimands are often thrown about needlessly.

Like lucky caps and favorite shoes

As part of her marathon training, Daisy Carranza has taken an over-the-counter pain reliever nearly every day for the last several months.

On race day, she's prepared to pop at least seven Extra Strength Tylenol capsules: two at the starting line, three at mile 18 -- just before the body starts to rebel -- and two at the post-race party, to help with recovery.

"It's a regular thing," said Carranza, 31, of Chicago, who is entered in her fourth Bank of America Chicago Marathon. "I have a lot of knee, back and shoulder pain, so I look at Tylenol in the same way as protein bars and Gatorade."

Like lucky caps and favorite shoes, marathoners often rely on over-the-counter pain relievers to get them through both the endless training and the grueling 26.2-mile race itself. The most popular drugs generally contain acetaminophen -- the active ingredient in Carranza's Tylenol -- or ibuprofen, part of a class of medications called NSAIDs, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

The medications can be a godsend when taken as directed: for headaches, fevers or acute injuries, such as a twisted ankle. But both ibuprofen and acetaminophen pose well-documented health risks, especially when they're consumed in large amounts or for an extended time.

There's also little evidence to suggest that athletes receive any benefit from taking pain relievers before a race.We provide top quality cheapwatchesand IWC Replica Watches. And emerging research is starting to show that ibuprofen can actually cause inflammation under certain conditions and may interfere with the body's processes of recovery and adaptation.

"We fall into the assumption that anything available over the counter is safe and that we know how to use it," said Wendy Kohrt, a professor of medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus who has studied NSAIDs' effects on bone formation. "But it's just not true."

When taken preventively, pain relievers "have the potential to reduce how well your tissues adapt to the exercise," said Stuart Warden, an associate professor in the Indiana University School of Health and Rehabilitation. "We all know exercise makes muscles bigger, bones stronger and tissues adapt,Find dsquaredshoes from the latest collection。 changing in structure," he said. Guest choreographer instructs dance students

Tap shoes, jazz hands and pirouettes are nothing new in the dance studio, but last week the dance company was treated with a new face.

Darryl Kent Clark, a guest choreographer, set a piece on the dance company last week. Clark is a native of Michigan and began his dance career in 1981 in Chicago.

“My experience at Henderson has been nothing but wonderful,” Clark said. “I can’t think of a group of people that could be more welcoming to a stranger. I have felt so welcome and so part of the community here. Where I’m staying [Captain Henderson House] is wonderful, and the studio is so beautiful. It’s been an inspiration to be here and to create inside this environment.”

Clark has worked as an actor with First Folio Shakespeare Festival of Oakbrook, Ill.Find Authentic shoespumps in many styles and colors.Buy the top quality Swiss omegawatch at replicawatchesswiss,, Rochester, N.Y.’s Geva Theater and Chicago’s Marriott Lincolnshire Theater and Pegasus Players. He has also danced with Princess Cruises, Vee Corporation.

“I like being in other environments,” Clark said. “It helps me get a new perspective for my own students, and I also need to re-invigorate myself by seeing something new; seeing a new town, seeing a new set of faces. So I take great store in having the new, instead of getting to a point where it’s like,We provide top quality hublotwatchand IWC Replica Watches. roll out of bed, go teach there, go back home and let that process repeat over and over for years. That would feel like a sort of death,We Specialize In Selling royaloak, and I don’t want to feel that. Not yet.”

He stayed busy all week, offering free master classes for anyone who wanted to take them from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and then went on to set choreography on the company from 6 to 10 p.m.

“Darryl has been able to pull dance and theater together through a silent film era style piece,” Jennifer Maddox, dance company director, said. “It is an original work pulling from the dancers’ strengths, incorporating tap, ballet, character movement and jazz. I think he is a very multi-talented and gracious choreographer and teacher.”

Clark had four rehearsals to set a 16-minute piece on the company, and then they performed it last Friday for a small audience. But the crunch of time isn’t a new experience for him.

“I have had to do much more intense stuff,” he said. “Speed was not a challenge. It has been a very liberating experience to be here and to be able to create this piece in a week. I knew the music, and I knew the piece’s history. I don’t think I’ve ever had to stop and go, ‘I don’t think I can do that. It’s going to be too challenging.’”

Both students from Henderson and Ouachita were able to experience Clark’s teaching. Ali Brown, junior biology major, has been dancing for most of her life and was still able to gain a new perspective on the art form.

“Theatrical dance is not what I thought it was,” Brown said. “It’s not just interpretation of Broadway musicals. It can be much more than that. Darryl is a visionary, and he has a large imagination.”

“This week I’ve grown by learning a different style,” Ungela James, senior psychology major, said. “I’ve become more comfortable with acting while dancing. I’m always interested in what Darryl has to teach.”

“My favorite style to teach is a toss-up between modern and musical theater reparatory,” Clark said. “Modern because it’s what I love, it’s my baby, it’s what I came to when I first started dancing in college. But in musical theater reparatory I get to create my stuff, I get to interpolate styles of vernacular dance from other eras.”

Chima Simone on 'Real Housewives of Atlanta': Living Big in Cape Town

The housewives of Atlanta landed in Cape Town with a heavy thud. That was the sound of all of their luggage hitting the tarmac. Hauling mass amounts of suitcases, trunks, and carry-ons, the bag ladies were well on their way to constructing a Louis Vuitton village in the south of Africa.

But, village, pillage, the Talls and the Smalls would be living in luxury for the first leg of the trip.

And Phaedra did not disappoint with her well-appointed accommodations. The luxe penthouse impressed all, except Marlo who soon aggravated the poor concierge with her demands to know the names of the housekeepers, what hours they kept, dresses was created in order to maintain a balance of the athletes' movement. and if their backgrounds were as criminal as hers. She didn't want her stolen goods stolen.

In addition to the staff of the cosmopolitan suite, Marlo also vexed her travel companions with her unsought etiquette advice: Pass the salt with the pepper, take a pinch of bread and just a dab of butter, meandshoes is the official air traffic control call sign of any United States Air Force aircraft carrying the President of the United States. cross your legs at your ankles, and when a lady slices another woman's face she's sure to do it from right to left.

The women all wanted her to shut up, but she squawked endlessly until she finally blew up in Sheree's face.

You see, Sheree has a fabulous friend who travels to South Africa quite frequently, and he was having a glorious party that Marlo was not welcomed to join. Sheree didn't invite NeNe and Cynthia either, but that was to be expected as Cynthia goes wherever NeNe goes and Sheree wouldn't ask NeNe to a fish fry.

NeNe was fine with not attending the party so the Talls had a dinner planned at Nobu. When the Smalls and Talls sat down for breakfast earlier in the day this was all understood even though Cynthia and Marlo weren't thrilled about it.

All was well, until Sheree invited Cynthia -- deciding Cynthia might detach herself from NeNe's hip and join the Smalls at the shindig. Cynthia, however, ran back to the Talls to tattle.

And with that, Marlo charged into Sheree's room. Rage smoldering beneath her haughty fa?ade, she demanded to know why she was not invited to the party of the century — it had to be, why else would her exclusion set off a deluge of unwarranted insults on Sheree.

“Go hang with the f****ts, you ugly stupid ass….” Marlo exclaimed as she let out a gay slur and a full throttle verbal massacre on Sheree's friends, finances, and fine watches. “One Rolex, one Rolex, that's exciting? One Rolex?”

It didn't stop there. In fact, it didn't stop at all. The tussle devolved into caustic barbs hurled back and forth until both Sheree and Marlo started mimicking each other in some strange high-pitched, hands to face,Shop for high quality replicashoes Watches. hyena giggle.

It was a spectacle that continues into next week when we find out who wins the “I have more money than you,” battle. The Small with the repossessed Aston Martin or the Tall with the Aston Martin paid for in cash by an 80-year-old man she slept with.
