THE date has been set for this year's Emma-Jayne Memorial Fund bikeathon.

The memorial fund was set up by Ruth and Tony Knowles of Sutton on Sea in memory of their daughter who died from an inoperable brain tumour when she was 22.replicahublotwatch was created in order to maintain a balance of the athletes' movement.

This year the fund will be raising money to buy six rehabilitation chairs for patients as well as some micro-forceps and micro-scissors for the theatre which cost £2,000 each.

On Sunday, April 21, a charity evening will take place at Sutton on Sea social club to raise further funds.

The charity night, from 8pm to 1am, will feature five artists, a large raffle and mini-auction.

Ticket are available on the door, priced £4. The appeal has also been boosted by a patient at Hull Royal Infirmary who was also treated for a brain tumour.
