Business partners Betty Kay Hundley and Summer Jackson saw a need in Clarksville for children's clothing and tween gifts, and are hoping to fill that niche with their new Madison Street boutique.
The two have opened Flower Lily, a children's boutique that is the first shop to open in a new retail strip center at 1849 Madison.
Flower Lily occupies about 1,300 square feet, in Suite E.
Jackson has already owned Fleur De Lis, a downtown shop at 100 S. Main St., and along with Hundley, she's venturing into another realm of retail — kids.
"We got together and talked about what kind of store would go well," Hundley said. "We realized that this market did not cater to kids' clothing.

"One of the things we do that is unique is that, we offer personalized, in-house monogramming," Hundley said. "We also have a baby registry — things that a mother needs."
Hundley said one of her favorite things about the store is seeing all the "cute kids" that stop by.

Hours for Flower Lily are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.wholesale Juicy Wallets for sale to 6 p.m. The store will be open Sundays through the holiday season, beginning Thanksgiving weekend.
On the Saturday after Thanksgiving Day, Santa Claus will make a special appearance at the store.
